NTCH SUMMER JAZZ is back! This year's theme is "Play it Forward!" featuring a lineup of international jazz stars, industry experts, and Taiwanese jazz musicians, combining their abundant energy to create a more diverse musical experience.
After a four-year hiatus, international superstars and jazz masters are finally back in Taiwan to join the festivities. For many music enthusiasts, the word "Play" not only implies enjoyment, performance, and playback but also features the common symbol "▶". When we combine "Play" with another "Play," the symbol becomes "▶▶," representing a forward motion. As Taiwan reopens its doors, the NTCH Summer Jazz Festival is ready to invite everyone to "Play it Forward" and move forward together.
In addition to the performances, the festival includes related events such as jazz workshops, outdoor parties, and a summer jazz-themed collection exhibition at the Performing Arts Library.
全臺最盛大的爵士音樂節——兩廳院夏日爵士。今年兩廳院夏日爵士以「Play it Forward!」為題，五檔演出節目集結國際巨星、樂壇名家與臺灣爵士樂手的豐沛能量，揉合出更多元的音樂樣貌。此外，相關系列活動還包括爵士工作坊、兩廳院夏日爵士戶外派對市集，與表演藝術圖書館的夏日爵士推薦館藏展。
睽違四年終於來臺 國際巨星與爵士大師共襄盛舉
對許多樂迷來說，Play這個字除了有著「玩樂」、「演奏」與「播放」等含意，還有個常見的代表符號 「▶」。當我們把 Play 加上另一個 Play，這個符號就成了帶有「前進」含意的 Forward（▶▶）。今年在國門重啟，加入了各方好手一起 Play 之後，兩廳院夏日爵士準備邀請大家一同 Play it Forward、向前邁進。
